  • ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
    Economic Development Committee – The Economic Development Committee is open to all Chamber members and meets on a monthly basis to discuss issues and projects that directly impact the growth of Vallejo’s economy.

    Business Permitting Ad Hoc – A meeting between senior members of the City of Vallejo's management team and a select group of Chamber Board members and business owners. The focus of these meetings is to improve the permitting and planning process so that more businesses interested in getting started in Vallejo are successful.

    Business Safety Ad Hoc – A new committee that will meet regularly with the Vallejo Police Department to discuss programs such as Business Watch and FLOCK safety cameras.

    SOTC: The State of Business in Vallejo – An annual event done in partnership with the City of Vallejo to promote business and economic opportunity in Vallejo.

     

    MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
    Ambassadors – The Ambassadors are a dedicated group of Vallejo Chamber of Commerce members who volunteer their time to foster and promote the goals of the Chamber to our membership and the community.

    Vallejo Chambers Alliance – The Vallejo Chambers Alliance is comprised of the Solano County Black Chamber, Solano County Hispanic Chamber, Solano County Filipino-American Chamber and the Vallejo Chamber. These organizations meet three to four times per year to work on issues of mutual interest. Past examples include multi-Chamber mixers, Chamber Night at the Ballpark, and the Vallejo Candidate Forums.

     

    COMMUNITY PROMOTION
    Installation Dinner – The Annual Vallejo Chamber Installation Dinner is the premier event of the year where we have our new Board of Directors installed at a wonderful dinner ceremony.

    Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser – The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Chamber of Commerce is held at a local golf course and showcases some of our wonderful Chamber member businesses.

     

    POLITICAL ADVOCACY
    Governmental Affairs & Political Advocacy Committee - The Chamber acts as a representative for the business community on important local, state and federal government issues that affect our economy and meets monthly with local, regional and state government representatives.

    Member Advocacy - The Chamber keeps its members and the community informed as to the local impact that government legislation and actions will have on the Vallejo community. The Chamber also helps assist our members with specific government issues affecting their businesses.
